The teams turned up early, with their matching team t-shirts for the Darts Event. The room was filled with over 200 competitors and of course their supporters who eagerly waited to lift those 180 cards. We even managed to have AECC provide food at the very last minute, to soak up the drink that was to be consumed throughout the evening.
Royal Mail secured victory in this challenge and showed that they hadn?t lost any of their darts skills, as they won this event in 2004! This brings them to top of the Decathlon Table, with only 10 points above Grampian Police who took home the runner up trophy.
Petrofac were thrilled, as they lifted the third place trophy, which is by far the best result for them yet, since joining the Decathlon Tournament in 2004, and moves them up to 6th place in the overall table.
It was an excellent result for newcomers Raeburn Christie Clark and Wallace who finished in 4th place.
The Plate Final was a nail biting match, but Maersk managed to show that they can keep standing after a few pints and came in 1st place, with Vetco in 2nd, Accenture 3rd and WG 4th.
In the highly entertaining Bowl Competition, Total E&P UK PLC came 1st, with Technip in 2nd, Deloitte 3rd and M-I Swaco 4th.
A big thank you to John Smith and the Grampian Darts Association. |
